When looking to improve school spirit, there are a number of ways of being able to achieve this. Breakaway banners, loud music, and inflatables are just a few of the tools to increase spirit. But Spirit flags are one of the best and oldest options that you can use to help you make the most of this. Here are some of the things you need to know about spirit flags and what they can do. 

What are spirit flags?

Spirit flags are large polyester flags, typically embroidered or printed with school insignia and colors. Spirit Banners are often used during sporting events in high school, college, and Pee Wee sports. In addition, they can be used at a variety of sporting events like football and basketball games. They are designed to help support the team or cheer squad during the game. On the whole, it used to increase the participation of spectators and help to motivate players. In most examples, letter flags have a single letter for each banner. When displayed with the other letter flags, a word is spelled out. For example – T-I-G-E-R-S could be five flags each with a single letter.
